Peter Grimm's Christmas Gift, set in 1910 in Santa Barbara, California, is the story of a man who thinks he can control destiny, but learns he can't. He makes his adopted daughter promise to marry his nephew so that his name and business (Grimm's Botanical Gardens) will continue for generations to come. However, when he returns as a ghost; he finds his great plan failing. He must master the ways of his new existence to get his message across to the living when he cannot be seen or heard. But will he do it in time? Peter's comic attempts to master the afterlife highlight this comic and touching story of his redemption and his gift of love to his daughter.
